WPC works on a “members-helping-members” basis, using apprenticeship-style, on-the-job training to aid members to produce publication projects of their own.

Members with skills in writing, design and printing aid other members (individual and organizational) to produce newsletters, posters, leaflets and other printed materials.

When one member learns a skill, they teach another member. This creates a continuous process of publication production coming from the community, which WPC has maintained since 1982.
